# ELMA - Email Lifecycle Marketing Agent
ELMA is the brain behind orchestrating intelligent, automated email workflows across the user journey. From onboarding sequences and activation nudges to re-engagement and churn-prevention series, ELMA manages the entire lifecycle communication via email. What sets ELMA apart is its ability to analyze user behavior and time-triggered events, allowing it to deliver perfectly timed and highly contextual messages. ELMA solves the common problem of static, outdated email journeys by continuously optimizing content, timing, and frequency based on user engagement. Whether you're nurturing new users or reactivating dormant ones, ELMA ensures your email strategy is proactive, personalized, and effective.
**Step 1: Navigate to the Get Started Page**
Open the [Questera website](https://app.questera.ai) and head to the homepage. On the top navigation bar, click on the **“Get Started”** option. This will take you to a curated list of ready-to-use AI agents.

**Step 2: Select “Email Lifecycle Marketing Agent”**
Scroll down until you find the section titled **“Ready to Launch AI Agents.”** Here, locate and click on the **“Email Lifecycle Marketing Agent”** option.\
**Step 3: Start Chatting with ELMA**
Once you click on the agent, ELMA will instantly open in a chat interface. You don’t need to set up anything manually — just start by telling ELMA what kind of **email campaign** you’d like to run.\
**Step 4: ELMA Asks You Smart Questions**
To tailor the campaign perfectly, ELMA will ask you a few simple questions:\
ELMA will also generate and show you **different variants** of each email — including subject lines, layout suggestions, and tone options — so you can pick what resonates best with your brand.
Just reply conversationally — no forms or dashboards required.\

**Step 5: Finalize Campaign Details**
Once you’ve chatted through your preferences:
* **Fill in the campaign details** such as title, user segment, design preferences, and content.
* Choose the right **media**, whether it's images, logos, or videos.
* Set the **schedule** for when emails should go out.
* Finally, **select the email source** — the domain from which the emails should be sent.
You’ll get a final preview of the campaign before launch.
**Step 5: Review & Send**
After collecting all the required information, ELMA will generate the full email campaign flow for you including subject lines, content, design suggestions, and scheduling. You’ll get a preview of each email in the chat itself. If you're happy with the campaign, simply click **“Send”** and ELMA takes care of the rest.
