# Heap

Heap is a digital insights platform that automatically captures user interactions across your website and products, allowing teams to uncover hidden opportunities and improve user experiences without needing manual event tracking.\ <br>

&#x20;**How it works**

#### Step 1: Sign In & Navigate to Account Settings

1. Log in to your [Heap account](https://heapanalytics.com/). Or sign in&#x20;
2. On the left sidebar, scroll down and click Account.

#### Step 2: Access Privacy & Security

1. Under Account, select Manage.
2. In the new sidebar, click Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

#### Step 3: Generate API Key

1. Under Delete End User Data, locate the Use the API option.
2. Here, you’ll see your API ID.
3. Click Create New Key.
4. Copy the generated API Key immediately.

#### Step 4: Integrate with Questera

1. Go to Questera’s integration settings.
2. Paste the Heap API Key and your API ID (if required).
3. Save settings—Heap is now connected!
