Greta Framework & Library Support Policy
Applies To: All Greta users across Free, Subscription, Top-Up, and AppSumo plans
Welcome to Greta’s Framework Support policy page. This document clarifies the support for libraries and frameworks within the Greta platform. Our goal is to ensure transparency so you can build your projects with clarity and confidence.
1. Introduction
Greta uses advanced AI to generate code for a wide variety of tasks. Since AI models are dynamic and non-deterministic, Greta does not maintain a fixed, guaranteed list of supported libraries or frameworks.
This policy outlines the level of support you can expect for different technologies to help you achieve the best results on our platform.
2. Primary Framework Support
For the best Greta experience, including full functionality of all native platform features, we strongly recommend using the following technology stack:
Frontend Framework: React
Backend & Database: Supabase
Using React with Supabase ensures full compatibility with Greta's core features like Live Preview, Build, and Deploy.
3. Support for Other Frameworks & Libraries
You are free to instruct the AI to generate code for other frameworks (e.g., Vue, Svelte, Angular) or backend services.
Code Generation: The AI will often successfully generate code for these other technologies.
Platform Feature Limitations: However, please be aware that Greta's native features (Preview, Build, Deploy) are optimized and guaranteed only for React and Supabase. Code for other frameworks may not work with these features.
4. How to Get the Best Results
Be Specific in Your Prompts: Provide clear, detailed instructions and mention "React" and "Supabase" explicitly for the most reliable and feature-compatible output.
Leverage AI Flexibility: Use Greta's AI for brainstorming, prototyping, or generating code snippets for other technologies, understanding the platform feature limitations.
Focus on the Recommended Stack: For end-to-end project development using all of Greta's powerful tools, building with React and Supabase is the recommended and fully supported path.

6. Important Notes
Greta's code generation is powered by AI, and its capabilities can vary.
We cannot guarantee full compatibility or correct functionality for any specific library or framework outside the primary supported stack.
For a seamless building experience, adopting the React + Supabase stack is highly advised.
